College Admissions Fraud Case

The recent news about a conspiracy to rig college admissions test results for those wealthy enough to pay for it has confounded many. Frankly, it makes me angry that arguably less-deserving kids are admitted to top colleges and universities because of the crimes of their parents over those who lawfully took the entrance exam and scored well. I downloaded a copy of the FBI Special Agent’s affidavit in support of the charges from the government’s website called Pacer. The charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud are alleged against numerous people including actress Felicity Huffman (she faces one count only).
