In a recent BK Live video, I mentioned that I had read a book by reporter John Ferak called Failure of Justice. It’s about the exoneration of six men and women for the murder of a Nebraska woman. Ferak is now in Wisconsin reporting for USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin and is conducting in-depth reporting on the cases of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. Yesterday, Ferak posted a story about his investigation which you can read here. Freak has been pouring over police reports and transcripts into the 2005 murder of Theresa Halbach and the investigation that eventually led to the arrests of Avery and Dassey.
