UPDATE: Judge O’Neill decided today (Feb. 27) that the jury in Cosby’s sexual assault case will be selected from outside Montgomery County (a Philadelphia suburb). The trial is currently scheduled to begin June 5. Pennsylvania Judge Stephen T. O’Neill issued a one-page order Friday that only one other alleged victim of Bill Cosby can testify against him at his trial this June. The Montgomery County prosecutor had sought to use the testimony of 12 more alleged victims. The judge’s order is being reported as a setback to the prosecution. I suppose it is, considering that, if the judge agreed with the State, a parade of 14 women, including the accuser Andrea Constand, would have faced Cosby in a criminal courtroom. Now, only two will. But two is better than one woman’s word against Cosby’s. The one other person allowed to testify…
