Day 1 of post-conviction hearing in Baltimore, MD. Syed was convicted in 2000 of the murder of his ex-girllfriend, Hae Minh Lee. He's always maintained his innocence and claims the jury should have heard from an alibi witness. Syed was the subject of NPR's first season of Serial podcast.

Durst was back in federal court in Louisiana, this time to plead guilty to possession of a gun. He will be sentence on April 27, 2016 and could get up to 10 years in prison. Soon after his sentencing. Durst should be on his way to Los Angeles to face murder charges in the death of Susan Berman in December 2000. |
