Couch not present. Case continued one month because parents were not properly notified of the hearing. Couch withdraws petition challenging his extradition.

Outcome: Defense attorneys cross examine informant. Hearing is continued until Feb. 23 at 1:30 pm. It's expected to last about 3 hours on that day.

Outcome of hearing: Judge delays her trial. No date yet--pending appeal by Porter. Judge denies state's request to compel Porter's testimony at trials of Nero, Miller and Rice.

Cosby filed a habeas motion alleging that Bruce Castor made a non-prosecution promise in 2005/06. They say Cosby relied on that promise when he testified at deposition in Costand's civil suit and didn't invoke the 5th Amendment.

Day 1 of post-conviction hearing in Baltimore, MD. Syed was convicted in 2000 of the murder of his ex-girllfriend, Hae Minh Lee. He's always maintained his innocence and claims the jury should have heard from an alibi witness. Syed was the subject of NPR's first season of Serial podcast.

Durst was back in federal court in Louisiana, this time to plead guilty to possession of a gun. He will be sentence on April 27, 2016 and could get up to 10 years in prison. Soon after his sentencing. Durst should be on his way to Los Angeles to face murder charges in the death of Susan Berman in December 2000.
