We can expect to see Officer Porter called to testify against him. Testimony in the trial of Baltimore cop Edward Nero moved at a rapid pace after he waived his right to a jury trial last week. Evidence in the state’s case in chief began last Thursday and wrapped up yesterday. The defense began to present its evidence and continues today. The state finished its case with the much-anticipated and litigated testimony of co-defendant, Officer Garrett Miller.
