DESCRIPTION:Dalia Dippolito’s California attorney\, Brian Claypool\, held a press conference at the conclusion of the motion to dismiss hearing last month. Claypool suggested that if the judge denied the motion\, he was buckling to sensationalism and community pressure. The motion was\, indeed\, denied on March 2\, 2016. On the same day\, the judge issued an order to show cause why Claypool should be allowed to continue representing Dippolito in light of apparent violations of the Florida Code of Professional Responsibility that governs attorneys’ conduct.  The order to show cause is on the Dippolito page under documents. The judge has also set today for a hearing on the State’s motion to revoke Dippolito’s bail based on her ABCNews interview conducted late last year.
