UPDATE (at 1:00 pm ET) The Ethan Couch hearing was continued until February 19 apparently because Couch’s parents did not receive timely notice of it. It is also being reported that Couch is no longer fighting extradition. I assume he’ll be back on US soil soon and will attend his Feb. 19 transfer hearing. UPDATE: Remember Dalia Dippolito, the Florida woman convicted of hiring a hitman to kill her husband? Her conviction was reversed in 2014 and she faces a retrial on May 23. This past November her new defense team filed a motion to dismiss (click here to read it). A hearing is taking place today at 4:00 p.m. in West Palm Beach, FL during which her lawyers will cross examine the undercover informant who did not testify live at the first trial.
